Welcome to the 'On-line Learning' page!
A place where we hope you can get sufficient information for your skating
skill improvement, no matter what level you are at.
This page consists of 5 sections: |
- Introduction of some basic concepts such as edges, skating on edges
and terminology.
- Video clips of skating skills of basic and intermediate
levels, performed by our sponsored skater
Adrian Baturin
and members of
Holiday-on-Inline. This section is a 'tutoring video guide' where you can learn from.
- Animations in slow motion of jumps and spins. Beginners
can study them carefully to determine the timing and sequence of movements for these skills.
- Video clips of skating elements of jumps and spins, with intermediate
and advanced levels. From beginning to end, each of the video clip gives
comprehensive demonstration of skills.
- Video clips of
top
skaters who rode on
Snow White®
in Worlds Inline Freestyle Championships.

We also found other links that provide good materials for your skating
learning. They are: |
- "How
to Jump and Spin on In-Line Skates"
- The first book that gives detailed information for
inline
freeskating.
- "Element
Recognition" - Though this is a web site for ice
figure skating, you still can find lots of valuable
pictures
and description (particularly
of the sequence of movements) for each element.
We hope you will
enjoy
using these materials, and take the best
advantage of them during your practice. |
